Dave M. Oh, don't they give a trophy for winning the Europa league? That's a bit odd, innit?

Europa League is a pile of dog if you have to go through those group stages.
It only benefited us because it got us up and running before the rest of the Prem League teams, so I'd take that again, but not keen on staying in it again too long.

FA Cup is the one to go for.

A trophy.

No brainer.

The pitch hasn't been fine most of the season at all, it's been pretty shit for a while now, down the flanks especially.

You been watching your streams in SD?

"Doesn't hitting the bar count?"

If it did, hitting the bar would be a goal.

What does the FA Cup winner normally get vis-à-vis European football?

Re: West Ham v Sunderland - Official Match Thread FT 1-0
So, did you know about 5th place qualifying then Johnson?

I know you'll say yes regardless, in an attempt to cement your place at the top of the football knowledge hierarchy.

I see you're right Cough, wasn't aware of that....still, possibility of 8 teams.

They need to rein that back in a bit really.

Watching LOLmas trying to talk about football is like watching a fish that's jumped out its tank flapping about gasping on the carpet.

There is no Fair Play qualification anymore

Re: West Ham v Sunderland - Official Match Thread FT 1-0
So there could be 8 teams in European comps next season....that's a bit of a joke really. Nearly half the teams qualifying for Euope.

I agree Sidney, I'd take an FA Cup win, although having European football next season would also be pretty cool.

Hang on, with 4 going to Champs League, if Spurs finished 5th and won the Euopa they would also go. Then, I presume there would still be Europa League places for the FA Cup winner, the League Cup winner and the 6th (previously reserved for 5th?) league placing, and then Fair Play League, so there could, hypothetically be NINE teams?

That doesn't seem right.
